I am a very outgoing person, always full of energy and optimism. Working with children allows me to release this energy even more so, and the smiles on children’s faces are priceless to me.

I am always happy to embrace new challenges and experiences. I like learning new things and passing on this knowledge to children. My strengths are: passionate cooperating with children, patience, openness, ease of communicating with people, punctuality. Here’s the motto which has accompanied me for years…

‘When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him.’ –Albert Camus

Privately, I am a mum of 5-year-old Iga. In my free time I love to dance (this is my second life passion), I swim, I snowboard and ski. I am also interested in architecture and interior decoration.

When I started my first work with nursery children, I found out that it brings me a lot of joy and that I would like to pursue my career as a teacher. I obtained a full qualification by graduating in Early Childhood Education and Preschool Education.
What amazes me the most about children is their honesty, openness, creativity and spontaneity. Every day I receive a lot of energy and enthusiasm at my job, which motivates me to keep going.
It is important for me that my pupils experience and explore the world on their own by creating the appropriate situations for them to do so.

I spend my free time actively on bike tours with my fiancé and walks. I really enjoy visiting castles and their surroundings. I take pleasure in helping people.

Working with children teaches me first of all how to keep improving – and the most important thing in all of this is the joy of little ones, because ‘If you can diagnose joy in the child and its intensity, you must understand that the greatest of joys is the joy of overcoming a difficulty, achieving a goal, discovering a mystery.’– J. Korczak

English -Polish teacher

Hi, my name is Ivanna and I am an English teacher. I consider my job to be the most beautiful profession in the world. I have been working in education for eleven years now and I haven’t got bored yet. On the contrary, I love it even more, even though it has never been a piece of cake. I basically combine work with passion – I love foreign languages and learning them gives me great pleasure. I speak English, German, Ukrainian and Russian, I know a bit of Latin, and currently I am learning Polish.
I love working with children as it gives me pleasure and satisfaction. It is essential to be very patient and open with children.

I am creative, honest and responsible. I like challenges and I am eager to learn new things. In my life, I often follow the words of W. Disney who said ‘If you can dream it you can do it.’ Nothing is impossible for me and I believe that with a little bit of effort, a person is able to achieve anything. At work, I make sure that children feel safe, comfortable and understood. I try to develop their interests, awake passions and also help in difficulties. For me, as a teacher, every effort is worth the cost, if the prize we get is the sincere and genuine smile of a child.

teacher

I was born and raised in a beautiful and picturesque village near Miechów. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been interested in dance, music and theatre. I started my adventure with dancing at the end of primary school by finishing a ballroom dance course and I was able to continue developing my interests in a high school with an artistic and theatrical profile in Krakow where I had theatre workshops, the basics of classical ballet and modern dance, pantomime and workshops on artistic weaving. I graduated with a master’s degree in Tourism, but the passion for creative work with children and the desire to teach the youngest ones the basics of Latin American and standard dances won and made me graduate from postgraduate studies in the field of Care and Educational Pedagogy with Youth and Family Counseling.

I have over 2 years of experience in working in kindergarten with children aged 2.5 to 6 years. In my job, I was trying to show children the surrounding world from a slightly different perspective by organising classes with elements of pantomime, acting out theatrical scenes, dance and eurhythmics classes. I am a smiling, open-minded person full of ideas who isn’t afraid of taking on new challenges.

When working with children, it is important to create a unique atmosphere which makes the youngest ones feel safe and allows them to develop their interests and passions. In such a group, children have an opportunity to learn about friendship, mutual respect and tolerance towards each other and towards other people.

speech therapist

I am a speech therapist with an artistic soul and love for children. I have completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Speech Therapy. I love working with children to which I devote the vast majority of my professional life. I am a speech therapist who always pays attention to the comfort of the child while conducting classes. During therapy, I try to create a joyful and friendly atmosphere between me and the child. I always try to motivate children to work through games and interesting, creative materials so that learning is neither boring nor difficult. ‘After hours’ I work as a vocalist in a wedding band as music is what has been my passion since childhood. I love what I do, and I think that’s what makes me smile all the time. 😉

Aniela

psychologist

My name is Aniela. Professionally, I am a psychologist working with children, teenagers and parents. In my work, I apply an individual approach to each person. I believe that children learn the most through conversation, consequences, observations and experience. What I love about working with children is their lightheartedness, joy, openness, imagination, directness in expressing emotions and thoughts, which often turn a seemingly difficult day into a better one. I see children as a storm of emotions, but also closeness, warmth and a trusting look of love. Privately, I love concerts, my 42-kilo dog Jerry, the village I grew up in, and mountain walks 🙂

Natalia

psychologist

I am a graduate of psychology at the Jagiellonian University with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology of Children. I’ve always dreamed of working with children. Watching them grow and make progress brings me enormous satisfaction and joy. I constantly gain experience and skills through daily work with children and their parents in kindergartens and in a psychologist’s office. I continue to broaden my knowledge by attending a course on systemic psychotherapy, thanks to which I learn how important it is to take into consideration the entire immediate environment of an individual in order to provide effective support. My great passion is music, which I have been fulfilling by singing in a choir for over a decade now. In my free time, I meet friends for talks over coffee and I constantly look for inspiration for next activities with children.

I am a cheerful, organized and outgoing person. My smile and positive attitude are contagious to everyone around me. I really like children as well as spending time with them. And recently, I’ve become a grandmother myself.

On a daily basis I take care of my house and farm together with my husband. I take care of my mother-in-law, who needs support in some activities, especially in lifting her spirits. I enjoy small things and appreciate what I have, especially my children, who I am very proud of. I take pleasure in sharing with and helping others.

Pan Piotrek

owner

I was named ‘Mr Piotrek’ by my kindergartners. Every time I show up at the kindergarten I can’t get away from my beloved preschoolers – they have so many questions and they are so curious about the world. Professionally, I am a designer of water, sewer and gas line installations and I run my own design office, however, education has been my passion for many years. I have been the owner of the Shamrock Language School since 2009 and following its success, we decided that our next step would be to create an English-Polish kindergarten and that’s how in 2018 the Happy Kids Academy Bilingual Kindergarten was established.

I am glad to see the kindergartners running around in our playground, hear them speaking or singing in English. I know that the process of upbringing is a difficult task because I myself am a father of 3 wonderful kids, but nothing is as joyful as being around children and shaping young people. I am trying to create a kindergarten as if I were creating it for my own children. In my free time, I play football or ski because someone once said that there is ‘a sound mind in a sound body’ and I try to instill the same belief in our preschoolers.

Ideal conditions for developing creativity

Bilingual children have a more complex structure of intelligence, leading to increased creativity and flexibility in the way of thinking.

Daily contact with natural English

Our kindergarten provides contact with natural English in everyday situations and the assimilation of whole phrases. We don’t simply teach colours or animals, but phrases like: ‘Open the door please’ and ‘Let's go outside’.

Great, caring and smart staff

We make sure that our staff members have the best, specialist education. They include philologists, psychologists and speech therapists with a huge heart for children.

Excellent and healthy nutrition

We know how important a healthy diet is, which is why our kindergarten is supplied by a reliable and reputable catering company. We personally test meals for children.
